They are currently looking for Class 2/4 drivers for harvest season in Blenheim/Marlborough region. Season is starting at the end of February, full-time work available for 3 months with the possibility for full-time permanent work. Your role will include but not limited to: » Class 2/4 landfill collection for vineyards » When required due to weather or other circumstances undertake any alternate duties as directed by your supervisor. » To comply with the legal road rules and regulations, to drive defensively and display at all times to customers and the general public high standards of a professional driver. » To operate your log book in a legal and correct manner, drivers are responsible for taking breaks when legally required, log books and time sheets must correspond. » To daily complete the prestart check sheet for your allocated vehicle before engine start, in line with company requirements What we can offer: » Work life balance with Monday to Friday, with flexibility required. » Starting rate of $24 per hour » Fixed Term, Permanent or Temporary options available » Internal/external training and career development » 40 to 50+ hours per week To be eligible you must be able to pass our pre-employment screening which includes: » Ministry of Justice Checks » Drug Screening including synthetic testing » Reference Checking (2 - 3 working references) If your wanting to work for a nationally recognized company, then apply on line with an up to date CV today.
