AKL) , a festival that creates space for the bravest, weirdest, and joyfully subversive artists T?makai Makaurau has to boast about. F.O.L.A. AKL is your gateway drug to the underground world of rule breakers and risk takers. Expect nothing less than the feeling of partying on K Rd at dawn, or catching the sunset from M?ngere Bridge at dusk. F.O.L.A. AKL is jam packed with performances that will leave you feeling twice as alive as you do now. "LIVE ART" means live performances that are genre fluid and all about the encounter between audience and performer. Information technology is usually, but not always, non-linear, highly visual, and often funny. Information technology is always born out of resistance against dominant power structures in the world. Information technology is always a new feeling, Information technology is always art, but not as you know it.The theme of F.O.L.A AKL 2021 is Leaks and Cracks . Living through a global pandemic has shown us that no matter what, art will find a way to leak or gush through any crack Information technology finds. AKL brings together artists of all kinds to leak and crack into each other: music, vis. art, theatre, dance, poetry, whatever your game is, F.O.L.A.
