Exciting National leadership abilities function in Funding Delivery Services.
We are pursuing a Manager National Funds to lead the delivery of national funding delivery services in H?pai Hapori.
This is one of the key leadership abilities functions within Funding Delivery Services. As part of the Funding Delivery Services leadership abilities team you will lead and influence national improvements to community led and hap? development, funding best practice, and contribute to community and voluntary sector policy development with a focus on equity.
This is a sector and a people leadership abilities function. You will lead a team of dedicated national Community Advisors, responsible for the effective distribution of grants to community, hapu and iwi and also provision of hap? and community led development; community advisory work and the effective distribution of grants across the Aotearoa.
You will be responsible for a team of advisors located primarily in Wellington providing services across Aotearoa.
The prosperous candidate will have:
   » practice in a senior leadership abilities function providing strategic advice and input into policy and programme development
   » sound knowledge of community development, community-led development and funding best practice
   » evidence of, or a commitment to, developing strong professional relationships with other funders
   » a strong knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in regional and national affairs in both a historical and contemporary setting
   » a high level of competency in Te Reo Maori me ona tikanga and relating to hap? and iwi across Aotearoa
   » the capability to work at a senior leadership abilities level, across business groups, other central and local government agencies, as well as with iwi leadership abilities groups and urban M?ori collectives.
