In its current form, Oxley's is a high-volume, quality-focused venue offering incredible food, great drinks and cocktails, and something-for-everyone entertainment. We are seeking for a Duty Manager to join our robust Front of House team. The right candidate will have practice managing a high-volume on-licensed venue, be a strong team player and leader, and genuinely enjoy working in the hospitality industry. What we are offering: - Competitive renumeration of $23/hr+, depending on significant practice - Set days off and set PM shifts- giving you stcapability, routine and a work-life balance - A supportive and fun team environment with very low staff turnover - An opportunity to make your mark in an established venue What you will bring: - A love of people and an capability to build rapport with both regular patrons and those passing through town - The capability to consistently hold yourself and your team to our high operating standards, especially when under pressure - A availability to lead a shift, and get stuck into the hard work alongside your team - The confidence and tact to proactively manage our venue in line with all applicable liquor licensing laws (full training provided) - A sense of pride in your personal appearance and grooming Requirements: - A current Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ), current Manager's Certificate is a bonus but not essential - At least 2 years' practice as a licensed Duty Manager - practice working in a high-volume (busy!) environment - Availcapability to work late nights and weekends (your days are your own!)
