We are currently operating out of the Fairlie area and are looking for staff to operate either hand tools or be part of our chainsaw crew. We are searching for honest and reliable persons to join our team. The prosperous candidates will need to be fit and confident working in the outdoors. To start with we have positions available on our Wilding Pine control operation where you will be part of team controlling small trees with loppers. Positions are no less than one month. There's also the opportunity for chainsaw training/certification for longer term contracts. PPE supplied but you’ll need your own solid footwear for on the hill. Work requires the capability to stay away on site with the team Monday to Friday. Accommodation and meals are supplied during the working week as part of the employment package. Starting rate of pay is $21.00 per hour (plus 8% holiday pay) but practice and certifications will be reflected in rate of pay. Preference is given to those with an outdoor background. Pre employment drug testing will be undertaken. We are an accredited Sitewise operator with over 20 years practice in wilding control and will provide all training and equipment etc necessary for the tasks at hand.
