Job Offer: Crew Member:Job description:Crew MemberPayment: Paid Position ($21.20)Job location: Paihia Region: Northland & Bay of Islands practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 25/10/2022 Join us as a Crew member this Summer at our Activity located cruises in the Bay of Islands, both overnight and day excursions aboard the vessel ‘The Rock’ in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. The purpose of this function is to provide an exceptional cruise practice in the Bay of Islands to every guest onboard The Rock in a safe and fun environment. tasks & Responsibilites: » Deliver an excellent standard of service to ALL guests onboard The Rock through professional conduct and appearance. » Learning as many names as possible with a goal of knowing all guests names by the end of each cruise. » Effective clear communicator with skipper, fellow crew and guests alike » Ensure that all guests are invited to participate in as many or few activities as they wish, no guest onboard the Rock is ever left out and general atmosphere onboard. » Maintain and use appropriate manner and appearance when cruising. » Assist with loading and unloading guests, guiding guests on various activities, cooking and cleaning for guests, maintaining, and repairing vessel equipment. » Handles lines to moor vessel to wharves, tie up vessel to mooring. » Helps in the anchoring of the vessel. » Ensures the vessel is in a clean and tidy state before and during every cruise. » Stands steering watches or lookout watches while underway. » Helps to maintain boats and equipment on board, such as engines, winches, navigational systems, fire extinguishers, and life preservers. » Gets involved in the company’s Social Media Campaigns where required in an appropriate manner that is in line with the company’s brand personality. » Provides verbal and physical direction and safety information to guests, guiding and leading of activities under indirect supervision candidates must be physically fit and able.
