About our group and team The Manager External Reporting leads the External Reporting team who are responsible for the Ministry’s external financial reporting deliverables and is a key function liaising with various internal and external stakeholders. About this function The Manager External Reporting is responsible for the delivery of the Ministry’s external financial reporting outputs including: baseline updates, estimates, the financial section of the Annual Report, and other Treasury deliverables. About you To be prosperous in this function, you’ll be working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders providing strong customer service and developing effective working relationships. You will also offer: » a CAANZ or CPA qualification » proven practice leading a finance team with a similar external reporting and public sector focus » an in-depth knowledge and practice applying public sector finance management, particularly appropriations, the Public Finance and State Sector Acts, and the connected Treasury guidelines and processes » excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and interpersonal expertise » practice working with the Crown Financial Information System (CFIS) is desirable Are you ready to make a difference?
