We are looking for a customer-focused Hiab Driver to join our team and contribute to achieving branch sales targets by providing quality customer service and utilizing effective sales techniques. As a Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the short and long term viability of the branch by maximizing sales and revenue.
Responsibilities:
   » Delivery building products to commercial and residential sites.
   » Liaising with appropriate management to load correct orders on the truck for delivery to customers' sites within specified delivery times.
   » Ensuring loads comply with legal and safety requirements before setting off on deliveries.
   » Maintaining positive working relationships with customers and promoting a positive image of Carters in the community.
   » Identifying and reporting any business risk factors and customer-sensitive issues.
   » Delivering on key projects and other organizational priorities as requested.
Requirements:
   » Class 4 and HIAB certification (equivalent Unit standard 1754) with experience.
   » Forklift license (F endorsed).
   » Physically Fit.
   » Customer service, product training, and sales skills.
   » Sales order entry skills and computer skills are desirable.

Our Taupo branch operates a minimum of 40 hours Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 5.00pm, and a Saturday morning 8.00am - 12.30pm - the Saturday roster works out to be approximately one Saturday morning requirement in every 3 to 4 weeks.
