We are currently interviewing for entry level - senior positions, ideal for individuals currently seeking work within the Insurance space, with focus on roles such as a Claims Consultant. We are recruiting full and part time professionals in and around Auckland on a temporary / contract basis. Those who are customer-centric and who excel in problem-solving, possess exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail should keep reading!
What you can expect
As a Claims Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims for your valued customers. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice and guidance, initiating claims settlement and mitigation by collaborating with internal and external service providers, and ensuring claims are settled within delegated levels of authority. Additionally, you will perform supporting tasks to streamline the claims process and maintain high standards of customer service. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
The perfect candidate?
   » Some background within claims and/or insurance is preferred.
   » Knowledge of claims processes, policies, and regulations.
   » Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
   » Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information to customers.
   » Analytical and detail-oriented approach to accurately assess claims and make appropriate decisions.
   » Proficient in using relevant software and systems.
   » Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
   » Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
