You will be able to stay connected to patients working 2 days a week as a Registered Nurse and then grow your leadership career working 3 days a week as the Facility Manager Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care to residents during your nursing shifts, ensuring their health and safety needs are met. Coordinate and supervise the nursing staff, including scheduling and performance management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents' families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized care plans. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the aged care facility, including administrative tasks, budget management, and facility maintenance. Lead and mentor a dedicated team to ensure excellent care standards are maintained. Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. Requirements: Current APC registration Proven experience in aged care nursing, demonstrating a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by older adults. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and accreditation standards in aged care. Previous experience in a leadership or management role is preferred but not essential.
