Job Responsibilities: As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the aged care facility. Your key responsibilities will include: » Leading and managing a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff. » Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. » Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's needs. » Monitoring medication administration and ensuring adherence to protocols. » Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and infection control throughout the facility. » Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to residents. » Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest quality of care. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: » Nurse registration with a valid practicing certificate in New Zealand is essential. » Proven experience in a management or leadership role in aged care or a similar healthcare setting. » Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. » Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in aged care. » Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
