The Client
This organisation is undergoing significant change, and as a result of a senior team member being deployed on other national projects, an additional resource is required for this period to pick up the day-to-day work he leaves behind. The function We are after an practiced Procurement Specialist, to take on the day-to-day procurement activity, specifically in specialist areas, focused on capex spend, plus designated projects as they arise. The environment is undergoing change, so don't expect two days to be the same! About You Ideally you will have a minimum of five years' practice in the procurement space, and be used to dealing with suppliers and contracts of significance and at a national level. The practice you bring, from ?junior? through to ?senior?, will determine the areas you get involved in and how the work is distributed amongst team members. You will be adept at interpreting and developing contracts, and have strong negotiation, communication and writing expertise, and have the flexibility to be able to work independently, as well as being part of a team, often in a remote environment. You'll either be available or coming available in the next month, as this client will wait for the right person.
