The company supplies engineering products to New Zealand businesses locally and internationally. About the function This is a very central function to the business as you will be the ‘go between’ for the customers, the production team, and the warehousing staff. You will be working closely with the Regional Manager and Technical Manager to achieve sales and ensure customers are receiving top quality service and advise. You will be providing Customer Service and Sales Support customers both over the phone, via email, and face to face. Specific tasks may include: » Answering the phone and emails » Acting as ‘first point of contact’ in a trade counter type environment » Providing technical information » Giving quotations, estimating costing for technical job orders » Putting in work orders to the production team » Preparing packing slips for the warehouse » Following up on quotes to achieve sales About you » Ideally from a mechanical or engineering background or a related industry » Have an interest in mechanics or engineering » Have a high standard of Customer Service » Well-spoken with great communication » Team and customer oriented » Ideally with practice with technical sales or customer service If this sounds like you, click APPLY NOW to send a CV or call 09 366 9977 to speak with Laura.
