PROPERTY MANAGER
   »Auckland located permanent function for a national organisation.
   »Strong technical asset components within portfolio
   »Asset and facilities management overview within responsibilities

About the Organisation:

this function is for a large national organisation with a variety of different property sites that are of both office and technical in nature. They are an organisation that provides an essential service across the country and their properties are integral in maintaining this service. There is a mix of both leasehold and freehold properties within the portfolio.
About the function:
Whilst titled Property Manager, the function goes beyond pure property management and encompasses facilities and asset management, maintenance of the property portfolio, and property related procurement.
You will be responsible for the annual operating budget, the capital expenditure budget, and maintenance programme, plus contract and lease negotiations, plus office fit-outs, any proposed office moves, and all connected property management administrative, health and safety, and premise-related matters.
What you will bring:
You will have significant property management, facilities, asset management, procurement, or business qualifications, a minimum of five years practice in a similar function, a solid knowledge of financial and technical data, analysis, and interpretation, practical knowledge of building and facilities contracts, capability to produce quality report writing, demonstrate your capability to identify and manage risks, and to resolve complex issues.
With some potential for relocation happening, recent practice project managing the complexities of a commercial move would be desirable.
The softer expertise play equal importance, so you will have excellent negotiation, and exceptional empathetic communication, and stakeholder engagement expertise, and be able to contribute as an effective team member and equally be a motivated self-starter. You will demonstrate attention to detail, and strong time management expertise.Because of the nature of the business and their key stakeholders, important will be your capability to deal with a highly diverse workforce with a high level of knowledge and practice in this type of environment.
compensates:
The income is excellent and current location is Auckland central. There will be some travel involved to sites across NZ.
