The New Zealand Library Partnership Programme (NZLPP) is working to strengthen the vital function of New Zealand Libraries as community hubs that support life-long learning, reading, digital literacy and easy access to information and expertise.
We're in need of Pou ?rahi to support the capcapability uplift of programme funded positions focussed on te reo and M?tauranga M?ori within the libraries sector and provide direct advice and guidance the programme to incorporate M?ori perspectives.
   » lead the mahi to create and implement our M?ori engagement strategy
   » Provide specialist advice and support to increase and uplift the capcapability of programme funded positions focussed on te reo and M?tauranga M?ori within the libraries sector
   » Lead engagement forums with iwi/M?ori partners and stakeholders.

Information and expertise Services (IKS) | Te T?huhu Iringa K?rero The National Library sits within the Information and expertise Services branch, the Department's epicentre of information management, culture and heritage.
Our branch is all about collecting, storing and preserving important things that are precious to New Zealand.
The Pou ?rahi will call upon their broad iwi/M?ori and Library sector networks and will lead the mahi to create and implement our M?ori engagement strategy working with others within the National Library and DIA M?ori networks and contribute to the needs of the National Library/Library Partnerships Programme and our key stakeholders.
A High proficiency in te reo M?ori, both written and spoken is required along with High proficiency in te reo M?ori, both written and spoken along with Strong networks with decision makers, ideally in the M?ori culture and heritage sector. Key Competencies:
