Job Opportunity: Operations Manager:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Christchurch Symphony Orchestra Closes 13 Sep 2022 Posted on 25 Aug 2022 Region Canterbury Work type Part time employment Work classification Management & Admin ShareThe Operations Manager of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra is a central function in the organisation, responsible for superviseing the implementation and delivery of the organisation's programme of work and wider strategic objectives outlined in the business plan.Strategic Planning: The Operations Manager works with the Artistic Director to lead and organise the management team in the delivery of the organisation's Operational Plan. The post-holder will participate in strategic planning and discussions with the Artistic Director along with the other managers and lead on major projects. Funding: The Operations Manager leads the operational funding application and acquittal process. Legislation and Regulations: The Operations Manager leads on all legislative compliance including Health and Safety. Staffing and HR: The Operations Manager, supervisen by the Artistic Director, manages the day-to-day HR management of artistic staff including the musicians. The Operations Manager reports to the Artistic Director and has management responsibility for the Artistic and Financial Services Manager, Production manager and production contractors.
