We primarily service Bluff, Invercargill, Rakiura and other areas all over Murihiku. Awarua Wh?nau Services are looking for a dynamic Kaihaut?/CEO to steer them as they continue their journey. About the function – M? te t?nga Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Kaihaut? will lead the financial and operational activities in order to drive long term success. The prosperous candidate will be promoting M?ori service delivery systems that value health and social service collaboration and implement Wh?nau centred models of care. With a focus on relationships, a key aspect of this function is advocacy and participation in sector groups that add value to the purpose of Awarua Wh?nau Services. About you – He k?rero m?u Our ideal candidate will have the following Ng? tino P?kenga: » leadership abilities practice in a similar sized organisation. » Previous practice leading a team through growth, change and innovative practices. » Operational knowledge of trends and issues within M?ori health and social services. » Strong knowledge of Te reo me ona Tikanga and commitment to embodying this in your day-to-day work. » expertise across the broad range of management competencies » A commitment to involvement in significant M?ori professional and clinical groups. » Strong relationship expertise with the capability to influence and inspire others.
