About the function
As our Manager Service Strategy and Insights you will be a key part of the Business Partnerships leadership abilities team, responsible for supporting the delivery of strategic insights and advice to achieve the desired strategic business results, through helping define the value stream strategy, and you will also lead a small team of up to 5 direct reports focused on designing levy products for our customers. The Business Partnership strategic focus is centred around partnering with our business customers to achieve improved health results for New Zealand. This is achieved through the delivery of a quality customer practice, continuing to build business trust and confidence in the ACC scheme and strong strategic relationships at a national level.
In this function you will be providing thought leadership abilities and analysis and you will be responsible for the oversight and management of the value stream strategy and horizons to support our change initiatives and work programmes.
You will build strong relationships, working collaboratively across a very complex and large organisation so your strategic enterprise lead view and capability to understand strategy and the application of this will be invaluable to us.
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous will include the following:
   » significant practice in a similar function with proven performance and results
   » capability to make strategic decisions and sound recommendations located on proper analysis, significant information, key issues and relationships, that balance the interests of customers and stakeholders
   » practice in systems thinking and capability to design systems and frameworks to provide insights
   » You can bring strategic thinking to a clear position and develop a workplan and vision to ensure we deliver to our value stream strategic results
   » Excellent communications and strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management expertise
   » Strong conceptual and analytical capability, with the capability to deal with complex and emerging issues, and with a high level of ambiguity
   » You won’t need to be an expert in what we do, but will need to be an accomplished leader with a passion for developing and delivering results for the betterment of New Zealanders
You will report directly into the Head of Business Partnerships joining a dynamic and forward-thinking leadership abilities team who are very supportive of each other.
We offer an attractive income of $158k – $200k depending on practice, plus 9% super is on offer.
