Presented annually, the 18-day event celebrates people and culture, and showcases the cultural diversity and vibrant energy of T?maki Makaurau/Auckland.As Head of Marketing & Communications, your function will be divided into four areas of focus: leadership abilities & Strategy, Marketing & Communications, Sponsorship & Partnership, and Financial. Key highlights include recruiting and managing the highly-skilled annual marketing and communications team, as well as driving the strategy, planning, and delivery of all festival marketing, communications, audience development, and public sales, contributing greatly to its success. The best person for the job has a minimum of five years' practice in arts marketing or similar; practice working in both traditional and digital marketing; demonstrated project, time, and people management expertise; excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications expertise; the capability to remain flexible and adapt; and no qualms with an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
