About our group and team
SE&S – Sector Enablement and Support
Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, skills and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
The Provider Services team is part of Learning Support Delivery and funds education services that help support children and young people to stay engaged in learning.
About this function
The Lead Advisor will support a key at-risk initiative. Responsibilities also include stakeholder relationship management to support system co design to support the work-streams in addition to monitoring and reporting.
About you
Your key previous practice will be in a service delivery function and leading the effective planning and implementation of initiative(s).
To be prosperous in the function you will be skilled at communicating complex ideas and information and be able to work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders. We will rely on you to design processes that align with initiative objectives and wider Learning Support Delivery objectives and expected results.
You will also offer the following:
   » practice with stakeholder relationships
   » Contract management and, ideally, procurement of services
   » practice working in Government
   » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga
