This will be a foundational piece of legislation for the Health and Discapability System that will provide New Zealand will a modern fit for purpose regulation for medicines and medical devices and enable New Zealand to access new and emerging health care technologies. You’ll bring a thorough knowledge of public policy issues including Te Tiriti and Equity requirements, and have demonstrated success in developing fit for purpose policy advice in a dynamic environment. You can assimilate new information and apply policy frameworks to work in tight time-frames. As a highly collaborative policy professional who can see the benefits of strong policy advice using data analysis and research to evidence advice, you bring with you a strong capability to take complex information and make Information technology significant across a range of audiences. You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of how legislative and regulatory instruments can be applied to deliver better economic and social results and improve health results. Your advice is understood by a range of audiences -breaking complex problems into achievable equitable solutions. You will take ownership and action on challenges, working collaboratively with others and you are all about making a positive contribution to the team. As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will be able to demonstrate your comfort in sharing your knowledge and mentoring analysts to grow their policy expertise. You are open to learning from others, seeking opportunities through your work to further grow both your written and analytical expertiseets, whilst demonstrating core leadership abilities expertise in the leading of pieces of work.
