Security and Cyber ArchitectJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »5 weeks annual leave »Flexibility with hours »$115-125k income The function The Security and Cyber Architect is a key function within the Technology and Operations team and is responsible for providing oversight and technical input to all architectural activities to ensure architectures uphold required security standards. The function will lead, develop, and communicate the Security Strategy and supervise and manage the information security and information assurance policy, standards, and guidelines. You will drive adoption of and adherence to policies and standards through the provision of expert advice and guidance to ensure architectural principles are applied, requirements are defined, and rigorous security testing is applied. tasks • Responsible for security architecture and the execution of the vision and Business Plan requirements. • Understand, document, and supervise the current and future security requirements. • Develop and ensure future security requirements and standards are in line with the enterprise architectural framework and maintain Information technology in line with governance direction and decisions. • Provide advice to business and services management on new technology, security integration and improvement opportunities. • Ensure compliance of architecture with security standards and policies through providing input and reviewing all business cases and initiatives that have architectural impacts. • Advise on and support the selection of technical components that comprise individual solutions. expertise & practice • A significant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, expertise, and practice • Expert knowledge and knowledge of Business and ICT across a wide spectrum of disciplines • Security Architecture Framework(s) Certification • Security technologies including Oracle, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Encryption and a thorough knowledge of security principles: • Enterprise infrastructure elements including SAN, Linux and MS operating systems and IP networks • Appropriate Industry Qualification • Minimum of 5 years Architecture practice or practice in a comparable function Desirable • ITIL Foundation • Industry Certification How to Apply?
