Bookings Coordinator (1 year contract)Job location:Auckland Manukau & East Auckland Work Type: Permanent » » » »Use your medical rec/admin exper to step up into Specialist Bookings function! »South Auckland, free parking, $27/hour »40 hours/week, start between 7.30am to 8.00am The Employer » Our client is within the Healthcare sector and prides themselves on serving the community through clinical excellence and providing a service that is second to none. » Reporting to a Clinical Services Manager this truly is an exciting opportunity for you take on a new function in a dynamic environment The Position » Support small team of Specialist Doctors with 2 Bookings colleagues » Contact patient on receipt of referral and coordinate a appropriate appointment date and time for procedure – explaining the payment process, passing on medical history if required etc » Send out confirmation letter and appropriate procedural information to the patient. » Book patient into theatre schedule » Cancel and reschedule patient’s as required » Coordinate the distribution of referrals and information eg ordering clinical notes and ensuring that documentation is received on time » Effective management of cancellations » Interact effectively with patient/whanau and team members to ensure knowledge of scheduling process » Provide a highly professional, well informed and valuable service (over the phone, via email and at times face to face) at all times – phone is predominant » Health & Safety compliance » Using Medtech and also a specialist patient bookings system You » Will have medical reception/administration practice from within a GP or Specialist environment » Be adaptable, flexible, keen to learn, advance your expertise in a very supportive, terrific environment! » Will have patient management software practice Offer » A small really friendly team who work hard but all enjoy a sense of humour » Hours are 40/week (flexible start time eg 7.30am to 4pm, 8.30am etc) with free parking » Wellness programme » 10 days sick leave (already) To be considered for this position, AND if you have the required Medical reception/administration (from GP’s or Specialists), please send an updated resume through to Sue Brash by clicking apply now.
