We are located 15min drive from the popular town of KeriKeri, and 20min to the beach and shops at Paihia. We are a family owned and operated dairy and beef farm. We are seeking for a fit and energetic person who enjoys working with animals to help out over our busy period. The main jobs will be milking cows twice per day, feeding calves and quad bike work. But tasks may also include fencing, weed control and repairs and maintenance when required. Accomodation is available in a warm furnished house with fireplace. This may be shared with another employee, but you will have separate bedrooms. Work is available from early July through to early December. You must have a drivers licence and a reliable vehicle so you can get to town to buy groceries and explore the region on your days off. If you don't have your own vehicle please don't apply for this job. Previous dairy farming practice is not essentail but the right attitude is. Pay rate will be dependent on practice, but a minimum of $23.50 per hour plus 8% holiday pay. Hours will be 35-45 per week.
