At ACC we have adopted the Agile working framework and want you to be part of our journey.As our new Senior Commercial Manager, you will work within ACC’s Agile Continuous Delivery Framework, and alongside our Technology & Innovation (T&I) and Business stakeholders to provide leadership abilities to the organisation on Supplier Relationships, Procurement processes and Contract Management. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and practiced professional who has practice in providing contractual and commercial advice and who has capcapability in the development, negotiation and maintenance of complex contracts with multiple ICT partners. Commercial advice will focus on contracting within an Agile methodology, and how to best enable Cloud uptake, as these become the strategic focus within T&I. In this function, you will have the chance to utilise your proven practice working in a commercial environment and your capability to build strong business relationships across all levels. To be prosperous we’d expect your background to reflect the following: » Considerable practice negotiating and managing contract life cycles, with an emphasis on complex ICT agreements including SaaS, PaaS etc » practice working in a large complex organisation (ideally across both government and private sectors) and a sound knowledge of the Government rules of sourcing » practice in prosperously building and managing strategic supplier relationships » practice in one or more Information technology categories including Digital,Cloud computing, software as a service, Licensing » Familiarity with significant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk » practice or an interest in contracting for Health results, where Information technology is an enabler Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
