You will be responsible for the provision of high quality thought leadership abilities and best practice advice and recommendations in support of the quality of delivery of the groups work programme. It’s important that you have an knowledge and consciousness of the Treaty of Waitangi and understand the function of the Ministry and health sector in reducing health disparities and improving health results for M?ori. To be prosperous, you will have exceptional relationship expertise to build and maintain effective professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude to really make a difference in supporting the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders. The income range for this function is $117,363 to $156,483 and will be appointed to align with expertise and practice. You will be someone who has the following: » Demonstrated practice in developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders » capability to think critically, assimilate complex and often competing ideas logically, and write or articulate these clearly, concisely and conveniently » Excellent written and oral communication expertise including the capability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles » Demonstrated practice in leading, coaching and mentoring staff » Significant practice of leading projects or programmes of work » A commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and working in partnership with M?ori » Significant practice and knowledge of the machinery of Government; and practice in the core government sector The Ministry of Health/Manat?
