About our group and team Te Mahau – Te Tai Runga (South) is a frontline group. Our frontline groups collectively provide leadership abilities and integrated services to the sector and others. This includes services such as learning support, education advice, regulation and network functions for schools and early learning services. We do this through coordinating and delivering responsive solutions in order to realise the local education priorities and goals. About this function You will provide advice and skills for changes to the school network, including new initiatives, enrolment scheme management and implementation of changes and support the Education and Infrastructure and Digital teams, Strategic Adviser M?ori, the Early Learning and Learning Support teams with planning and implementation of initiatives to support access to equitable and excellent results. You will have a particular focus on managing the programme for implementing enrolment schemes. This will require supporting the Education team with the process, providing advice and guidance as required and managing the consultation process with the community. About you You will have an appropriate qualification and the skills required to bring the following skills to this function: » A proven capability to establish, build and maintain highly effective working relationships » A good knowledge of recent legislative changes and the impact on schools » Demonstrable capability to translate operational policy into plans of action to deliver on policy intent » Strong analytical skills and the capability to work with demographic data to determine needs, priorities, and results » The capability to build and maintain prosperous relationship. » Excellent Project Management skills » A methodical and systematic approach to work while being creative and solution focused » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga Are you ready to make a difference?
