My client is a large Global engineering business with a very Kiwi feel to it. Whilst they have international interests, they can operate with autonomy and independence.
Due to their current specialist stepping down there is an opportunity for a qualified Senior Hydraulics Engineer to supervise their design and specification around complex, high value projects of scale and importance centred around Fluid Power.
this function is a pivotal position in the organisation with influence across sales, design, and production. The Technical manager will work closely with clients and the manufacturing team ensuring projects and pieces or wark and completed to a high standard and meeting technical specifications.
As this function also supports the sales function, providing technical skills to clients, Information technology is essential the individual has strong commercial acumen knowledge the cost drivers and commercial implications of the projects, where the challenges will lie and ultimately ensuring value for money and an outstanding practice for the customer.
To be prosperous in this position Information technology is essential you have practice in the following:

   » capability to communicate and engage with customers
   » Strong specification and design practice
   » Mentoring and coaching practice
   » Client management capability
