The Employment Relations and Pay Equity team is dynamic and fast-paced. We work with the sector to navigate and address pay equity claims within developing political, policy and legislative frameworks. Ensuring fair and equitable pay across the education workforce drives our work.
About this function
The Workstream Lead within the Pay Equity Programme is responsible for providing practical and thought leadership abilities on the design and implementation of the end-to-end process required to investigate pay equity claims in the schooling and early learning sector.
This position is also responsible for contributing to process design, over seeing the development of templates, guidance material and project documentation. They will also lead the identification, design, administration and presentation of data collection methods and analysis. The Workstream Lead will apply critical pay equity insight to analytical results to support decision making.
About you
To be prosperous in the function, you will have strong analytical skills and be comfortable in advising and providing subject matter skills on the claims process.
You will bring leadership abilities and mentoring skills to this function. While not the direct manager, you will be responsible for helping supervise a team of Analysts with their work and resolving day to day problems that arise.
You’ll be working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, developing relationships at all levels and across internal and external stakeholder groups. We’ll also count on you to shape, frame and design our process and thinking using a diverse and inclusive approach.
You will also offer the following:
   » practice in data capture and quantitative and qualitative data analysis
   » Prior practice in developing templates and guidance material
   » A proven capability to work flexibly, across several different work environments include remote working
   » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
