The dedicated and hardworking Strategy and Engagement team is currently seeking a Strategy Advisor and Corporate Writer to fill this creative function. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent vacancy.Te ?heinga: The opportunity The prosperous candidate will support the development, coordination, implementation and monitoring of Council’s integrated planning framework and processes. This will lead to support in the development and writing of integrated strategic plans across the organisation in order to contribute to the management and promotion of Council’s strategic direction. He k?rero m?u: About you In order to be considered for this function, you must have: » A significant tertiary qualification (planning, geography, social sciences, legal) » Proven practice in strategic plan development and document writing » Demonstrated knowledge of research and analysis techniques » The capability to work strategically while being able to also translate technical information to deliver to various audiences » Effective interpersonal and relationship-building expertise, to develop and maintain functional working relationships with both colleagues and the community including various organisations, iwi and M?ori » An knowledge and significant legislation and Local Government practice would be an advantage but not essential If you have what We are seeking for and are keen to be considered for a challenging yet compensateing function, then we want to hear from you.
