QA, QC and Logistics SupportLocation All TasmanTasman Job type Permanent Salary 70,000 to 75,000 Category Transport, Shipping, Logistics > Warehouse & Distribution » Fully funded insurance » Permanent Position, 8.30am to 4.30pm » Professional development oppertunities Our Nelson-based client is looking for a proactive and motivated QA/QC and Logistics Support person with proven experience to join their progressive business. Reporting directly to the Regulatory Compliance Manager (RCM) in your role you will assist in maintaining compliance in all aspects of processing by constantly monitoring and managing systems against the company's software. You will be working collaboratively across the business to support the objectives and goals of this essential business. The key responsibilities of this role are: » Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Abide by the relevant laws and regulations of New Zealand and other countries as appropriate. » Operate efficient systems and quality management. » Record and notify RCM of all non-compliance issues. » Ensure all paperwork relating to quarantine or dispatch is completed accurately. » Prepare dispatch documentation for all orders. » Liaise with external freight forwarders. » Data entry » Prepare and dispatch samples. » Carry out in-house analysis work. To be successful you will ideally have the following: » Experience working within QA/QC in the food industry. » Logistics experience related to a food manufacturing business. » E-Certs - raising ED's within the MPI system when needed. » Proven accuracy and attention to detail » Working knowledge of Risk Management Programmes » A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs » Current forklift license and OSH certificate » Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. » Adaptable, versatile, and a quick learner Please apply online with a Cover Letter and updated CV or for further information or a confidential chat please contact Gareth at Adecco on 03 539 0514.
