Help us on our journey to embed H?kai Rangi further into our mahi! We have two great opportunities for practiced Recruiters to join our team in Wellington. Both functions are fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of being extended.
M? te t?nga | About the functions
One of the functions will focus in our Frontline space, where you will usesophisticated assessment centre methodology to identify quality talent with your frontline hiring managers. Your function will be to develop diverse talent pools while delivering an exceptionally high level of candidate care. Our Recruitment Advisers manage a regional portfolio so the capability to travel is a pre requisite. We are a close knit team that enjoy the opportunity to get out of the office and meet our candidates and hiring managers face-to-face whenever we can.
The second function sits within our Specialist team in Wellington. This team recruits end to end functions and identifies the best talent available in the market to fill the diverse range of opportunities we have.

As a recruiter in our team, you will:
   » Work closely with hiring managers to understand their current and future recruitment requirements
   » Implement innovative sourcing strategies and profile Corrections careers externally, with a particular focus on attracting candidates with an knowledge of Te Ao Maori in line with the departments H?kai Rangi strategy
   » Be practiced using Springboard or a similar recruitment system
   » Work with competency profiles and psychometric assessments to identify ?potential’ in candidates who come from all walks of life. We use Talegent for our psychometrics across the organisation.
   » Facilitate assessment centres and train our managers to be assessors in line with a pre-arranged schedule (for the Frontline function)Engage with external stakeholders to profile careers at Corrections and represent the Department at careers events to attract diverse talent
We require practiced Recruitment Advisers who love to work in a fast-paced team environment and have energy to burn. No day is the same, so your capability to handle change and adjust at short notice is key. Our team works together to support each other and deliver a high level recruitment practice for our candidates and hiring managers. You are supported by a great recruitment coordination team that provide support through each recruitment process.
