If you have well-honed content creation expertise and a knack for producing stories that leap off the screen, we want to meet you. We’re looking for an practiced senior content advisor to join our in-house content team. This is a busy, self-starting function that requires all-round content skill. One day you may write a feature article about injury avoidance, and the next produce a video about an inspiring ACC client. You can write, produce, interview, direct, and create engaging and valuable content with the best of them. You’re also a deft collaborator, working across teams and with people inside and outside of the organisation to unearth and tell our stories. Most of all, you bring fun, good humour and passion to your work. You take pride in producing stories that get people to engage within that valuable three-second window. And you’ve got proven content production practice to demonstrate it. Content is your wheelhouse You know how to choose and target an audience, you know where to find them, and how to talk to them. You have practice creating content for multiple social media channels and mediums. And you can adapt your production style located on the channel or subject matter. Translating complex information into everyday language gives you a strange yet fulfilling sense of satisfaction. In fact, communicating in plain English is second nature. As a trusted advisor, you’ll also help others to approach their content in the same way. This includes writing the content, creating the social media campaigns to support it, and shooting and editing videos and photos to bring Information technology to life. We also support our in-house media team with thought provoking opinion pieces and news-focused content. Your function is to work across that spectrum, bringing to life stories that help illustrate how ACC brings value to New Zealanders lives. Our ambition is big when Information technology comes to proactively engaging with the public. You’ll help us realise this ambition by playing a critical function in helping us conceptualise and create simply great content.
