The Senior Advisor, Business Continuity works closely with the two Business Continuity Managers to lead and deliver the enterprise wide application of business continuity management and organisational resilience strategies and practices. This includes promoting a positive, informed business continuity and resilience culture and ensuring that the principles and requirements of ACC’s Business Continuity Policy are consistently applied all over the Enterprise. What you need to be prosperous: » Certification in business continuity and/or a qualification in emergency management is highly desirable but not required » practice in the emergency management or business continuity management and organisational resilience sectors, including strengths in influencing, relationship management, facilitation, and training » practice in project management and meeting goals across multiple projects or concurrent initiatives » Demonstrated expertise and application of, business continuity management, organisational resilience, disaster recovery and incident management concepts, strategies and solutions in a large-scale organisation » practice influencing key stakeholders to achieve buy in to business proposals that impact across an organisation Our business continuity strategy and management programme is in its third and final year. You will be critical to the prosperous delivery of this programme and the development of the new strategy and programme. Excitingly, our programme scope has recently been expanded to include organisational resilience, and the team is currently developing and defining a brand-new organisational resilience strategy and programme. This is great opportunity be involved in the next phase of an already prosperous business continuity and resilience programme. Business continuity and organisational resilience is strongly supported by senior leaders, ensuring the team can effectively engage across the organisation.Your capability to establish positive, collaborative working relationships with managers at all levels is a key success factor for this function. An attractive income $79k – $100k depending on practice,plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand’s leading government agencies.
