These functions will provide both cover for staff in Ministerial offices while they are on leave as well as surge support in times of high need. These are ?Events-located' functions for the duration of the 53rd Parliament. As part of that team We are pursuing two Ministerial Advisors. As a Ministerial Advisor you will be providing highlevel policy and political advice directly to Ministers across a range of portfolio responsibilities. These are challenging and compensateing functions which will give you an insight into the workings of the Executive Government of today. All candidates must have an excellent knowledge of existing government and public service protocols and processes.These functions require knowledge of political processes, political nous and the capability to contribute to policy proposals and submissions. practice in responding to Official Information Act requests, parliamentary questions and drafting correspondence and briefings would be highly advantageous.Outstanding written and verbal communication expertise and attention to detail are essential.
