Technical Product Owner Wellington or Auckland located Over the last five years in the Improvement, Systems and Technology group we have been evolving our delivery approach to be agile at scale. We have available now, an opportunity for a talented Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's largest government departments and be the motivational force that empowers our teams to meet delivery goals and increase product capabilities and services to our clients. Joining one our newly formed product groups you'll appreciate a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment leading several Agile standing teams that are focused on delivering technical results that enable the Ministry's complex earnings support and related products for our clients. Required tasks within the function » Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Managers and other Technical Product Owners working with the Client Management suite of applications contributing to product strategy & roadmaps, and Epic business cases » Create the work plan (story backlog) for teams in collaboration with team members, customers, and stakeholders » Participate in product level ceremonies (e.g. everyday Stand-up) and PI Planning develop Asset Management Plans » Define acceptance criteria for product stories and confirm they're complete » Foster an environment of trust, empowerment, collaboration, and a positive culture You will bring with you » Proven practice as a prosperous product owner, scrum master or a similar leadership abilities function in a technology environment where practice with IBM products, especially Cúram, is an advantage » Strong technical expertise and the capability to translate complex technology into relatable language demonstrated excellence in prioritisation and decision making » Excellent communication expertise and the capability to interact effectively at all levels.
