About the role: You will be assisting in the day-to-day operations and taking direction from supervisors to use our clients' non-invasive technologies for raising, re-leveling, re-supporting, and strengthening moving structures. As a Leading Hand / Foreperson / Senior Technician, you will be trained to develop a deep understanding of the use of our client's products and technologies and also assist with training, mentoring, and managing staff. » You will learn how to successfully deliver our clients' core services » Work alongside and gain knowledge with the Site Supervisor » Assist with project planning and delivery » Customer service delivery » Maintain a safe and presentable worksite » Conduct site surveys » Assist in creating and maintaining site documentation » Assist with training and managing staff members Requirements: Need to have: » Full Class 1 Drivers License » 1+ years experience in a leadership role (Team Leader, Foreman, Supervisor, etc.) » 2+ years experience as a labourer in Civil or Construction » Physically fit and able » Prepared to work away from home when required (i.e. 1 - 3 week trips) » Fantastic attitude and strong drive to learn new skills and excel at tasks » Right to work in New Zealand » Great command of the English language » Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and ongoing random testing Benefits: » Full-time permanent contract » Up-skill to additional licenses (Class 2, Class 4, Forklift, etc.) » Saturday work bonus payment » Working away allowance » The schedule is done one month in advance » PPE and uniform provided » On-the-job training provided » Fast upskilling and development opportunities » Great team environment Good to have: » Class 2 Drivers License » Class 4 Drivers License » Forklift License » ConstructSafe Level 1 or 2 » Site Safe passports » First Aid Certificate If this is something that you would be interested in, feel free to reach out to me for a private and confidential conversation on 021 197 8389 or email me at E-Mail: bjohnson@adecco.co.nz.
