Senior Adviser - Regulatory PolicyJob location:Wellington All Wellington Work Type: Permanent » » » • Lead projects that shape the future of transport in New Zealand • 2 x Permanent function’s, Wellington CBD - $105k-125k • Small agile Ministry with the capability to make a real difference. The function You will be part of a high performing team working on a wide-ranging and high-profile programme supporting the overall capcapability of the Regulatory Policy team, coach team members, and represent the Ministry across the government sector, as well as lead projects that have a real impact on the lives of New Zealanders. You’ll work closely with other teams in the Ministry, other government departments, transport agencies, international transport organisations, and participants in the transport system. Lead the shape, design and delivery of work relating to regulatory stewardship across transport modes e.g. work to reshape the regulatory framework for local government decision making. Supporting policy work on the Regulatory Systems Transport Amendment Bill projects, the international transport agreements and memberships, and contributing to system-wide assessments and work to amend legislation in response to our international obligations.
