Job Offer: Customer Services Representative – Contact Centre:FuelAgencyJob description:Job DescriptionRight now, We are seeking for two people to join the team.One function is a permanent vacancy - and the other is a fixed term contract (for around 12 months), covering maternity leave. Our Contact Centre Representatives are the first point of contact for many of our customers who phone in to Council. These customers may want to build or buy a house, plan a subdivision, open a restaurant or pay their rates account. They need your help and they don't want to be sent from pillar to post. We would like to hear from you now if you: Consider multitasking as one your strengths Think on your feet and have the capability to grasp technical requests quickly Ask questions and clarify what has been said until you understand the situation well Have previous customer service practice Put the customer first every time and enjoy going that extra mile If the above sounds like you, then one of these positions at Whangarei District Council could be just what you are looking for! These frontline functions are an integral part of the wider Customer Service and Council team - and help to get customer interactions off to the best start possible. Are you up to the challenge? To succeed in this team, you will need to be: Computer literate Happy to spend a large part of the working day taking calls Confident providing a positive first point of contact - including to some people who are out of their comfort zone when contacting Council You will be accurate with financial transactions And although not essential, Information technology would be great if you have some expertise of local government and/or an interest in finding out much more.
