HANDS-ON CHANGE SPECIALIST - FIXED TERM TO OCTOBER

The Opportunity

This client has been involved in an organisation-wide system implementation, which has seen a significant number of legacy systems merged into one. As a result of this, and events over the last few years, the timeframe has been extended, but Information technology is now in the final phase of the lead-up to go-live.
The function
We are after an practiced, hands-on Change Specialist to work with the Change Lead, to assist all staff to ease into the change process and identified results needed for the smooth transition of the new system.
You'll work with key stakeholders, and plan and facilitate workshops to gain valuable input to ensure buy-in into the change. You'll use your analytical expertise to the design and development - and delivery - of organisation-wide communications, monitoring feedback and suggesting ways to maximise change effectiveness.
You'll partner with management and leaders in the organisation, to help them lead the change in their areas of resposibility, providing key messaging, guidance, support, and identifying any risk areas
Undertaking activities, such as change impact assessments, and change readiness assessments, will assist in identifying and resolving any challenges and opportunities that may inhibit timeliness and desired deadlines.
You'll need to be IT-savvy so as to ensure the engagement of those impacted during UAT, and actively engage and support project activities.
About You
We're after someone who is hands-on but also understands the full business process, from implementation through to delivery, and how Information technology impacts on staff at all levels.
You'll likely be tertiary qualified in a significant field, although practice of prosperous change management delivery will trump specific qualifications! The following will give an idea of the type of practice we are after:
   » Likely 5+ years of change management practice in a complex, large environment with technology change.
   » Hands-on change analytical practice
   » IT/tech savvy with a high level of proficiency across typical business software and systems
   » Exceptional communications expertise all round and capability to influence, persuade and guide
   » Relationship development expertise and ?political? consciousness
