Warehouse - Team LeaderJob location:Canterbury Christchurch Work Type: Permanent » » » »Relaxed tight knit small team of 7; enjoyable function; Mon-Fri 7.30-4.30; $25hr »Sockburn located; varied function including customer service; requires friendly personality »Opportunity to grow; Fork lift essential; warehouse practice necessary This is a newly created function within a busy cohesive team of 7, and with a wider national footprint. This family owned and operated business has a great reputation in the market, and is known for it’s friendly down to earth supply of packaging products. The function includes: » General warehouse tasks and leadership abilities within your team of 2 » Answering phones and emails and working with customers face to face » Processing orders, using a manual system with a computerised component » Operating a fork lift You will be spending the majority of your time in the warehouse managing the ebbs and flows with one other team member and a delivery driver who also supports the team. Information technology is essential you have fork lift practice and a licence (F endorsement not necessary) and above all else, a great work ethic, and excellent communication expertise. You will be dealing with customers face to face, via email, and on the phone, so your attention to detail, friendly and approachable manner, and team spirit will be key to your success in this function. You will be computer savvy, a jack of all trades in some ways, just a flexible and pleasant personality on the team who enjoys the work and is seeking long term stcapability.
