The function
Reporting into the Payroll Manager the main purpose of this function, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing in the Education, Healthcare, Business & Industry, Senior Living and Sports & Leisure, Defence, and sector industries. You will be part of a team of 4 working alongside two other payroll agents sharing responsibilities within the payroll function of the business. You will also be the 2IC to the New Zealand payroll manager.

Employing over 3500 employees working nationally our client works across multiple sectors from business and industry, education defence and healthcare. You will work alongside a manager who leads from the front and supports their team in all areas
Some of the key Job responsibilities:
- Accurate fortnightly payroll processing
- Maintaining database with updating records
- Supporting the business with ACC work claims
- Back up support to the Payroll Manager
- Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
- Communicating with key stakeholders within the business
- Providing payroll information and reports to the wider business
- Assisting with completion of ACC and GB forms
- Filing paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with the clients procedures, policies and significant legislation
The ideal candidate
- Will understand New Zealand Employment/Legislative requirements
- Will have a minimum of 2 -3 years’ practice in the similar function
- practice with Pay Global is highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office expertise
- Must be organised with great time management
