About the Organisation
This client organisation fulfills a very important function in a sector that ensures community, environmental, and governance obligations are maintained. Their success has been achieved in recent times with the work of very good management and a committed team of specialists. About the function this function is an intermediate level Project Management function that is of a more generic nature, that is essentially the organisation's PMO, which this function leads. The organisation is of SME size, but the project responsibilities are huge! You will work with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and external, on projects of technology nature, but also bring to bear your project management skills to projects of a community, environmental, and well-being nature. This is what makes this function so interesting and varied. You'll provide end-to-end project management of projects, from design stage through to completion, and utilise proven tools and methodologies to do so. Important are project updates well-communicated, and deadlines being adhered to. Established KPIs are already in place and you will be expected to maintain these, update these requirements, and deliver expected results. In addition, your responsibility will extend to website and social media content management and technical support to ensure communications are well-honed. About you You'll be tertiary qualified and have additional PM qualifications such as Prince2 or PMI. In addition, you'll have practice with project management tools that support your skills you'll bring to the function, and your application of these will be to business best practice. You'll also possess exemplary communication skills, both in verbal and written form, be commercially astute, and have practice managing project budgets. practice in project staff management is important as this function has a strong liaison and people management component. Because media will come under your area of responsibility, expertise and practice in this area will be necessary. In addition, expertise and practice of working in an Iwi organisation is desirable, as is proficiency in Te Reo, although mandatory is expertise and respect of Maori Tikanga. compensates: This is quite a unique function that ?roves? across many areas of the organisation and offers great variety and practice.
