Park adjuncts Required:Job description:Park adjuncts RequiredPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($21.00)Job location: Rotorua Region: Rotorua & Bay of Plenty practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 13/10/2021 Holdens Bay Holiday Park is seeking a couple or single persons who are willing to slot into our very productive and vibrant team! We can offer the prosperous candidate fixed hours with accommodation included. The job offer will be: For a Couple: Minimum 30 hours each, over 5 days a week. Between the hours of 8:30am-7pm each day. Days off will be rostered each week, but in quieter periods we will try to ensure you have the same days off each week (e.g. Tues and Weds). If you are applying as a couple, you will have these days off together. We need someone who is able to work under pressure and enjoy an ever changing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following: Start date: Within the next 4 weeks 1) You must be fluent in English both spoken and written. 2) You must be responsible, hard working and very reliable 3) You must be able to work in a team and on your own and follow instruction when Information technology is given 4) You must have a great eye for detail and take great pride in your work 6) Living onsite is a must. 7) Previous cleaning/hospitality and maintenance practice will be a strongly preferred however we will consider all candidates. 8) You must be willing to clean on a everyday basis. We have a large ablution block which consists of 10 showers and toilets. There is a large shared kitchen along with laundry. We also have 33 units and cabins on site that we turn over on a regular basis. You will have a team of people working with you but, no one is exempt from completing any task required on a everyday basis. Having the capability to adapt to these everyday changes is a must! 9) Office work will be required for at least 1 of you, and you must be comfortable working unsupervised at least 2 days per week. This will involve checking guests in and out, responding to emails, taking calls, processing bookings, washing and so on. If you are applying together, Information technology is expected that both of you can work in the office and assist guests however this will become more one persons function, while the other person assists with cleaning/maintenance tasks. 10) As part of your weekly tasks, you will be required to assist with maintenance areas such as painting, repairs and general up-keep of the grounds. You, along with our current team will be required to clean rooms and shared areas on a everyday basis and turn these over to a high standard in a quick time frame. Guest practice is essential so we would like people who take pride in their work, while still being able to maintain speed and keep up with the tasks at hand. We have a small kitchen cabin on site which is available to the prosperous candidates. Your cabin will have its own kitchenette, but would require you to use the communal toilets and showers. All utilities included (including wifi), You will also have free access to our wonderful heated pools. You will be required to live on-site and assist with after-hours responsibilities 2 x per week at a minimum (possibly more if management are away or staff take leave or get sick). We really enjoy the work we do! We love working together and a team player is what we need.
