• located at the Auckland Head Office, this is an exciting opportunity for you to support your Product Manager in a well supported team environment.
• You will be utilising your supply chain/inventory expertise as an adjunct Product Manager of their broad Medical and Non-Medical Consumables range – focusing on your Product Manager’s key account in the health sector.
• Highly regarded in the market, this employer is part of a larger group too, with exciting expansion plans to relocate 2024 from the City edge to new South Auckland premises
Purpose
• To assist the Product Manager in the development of new processes and catalogue refinements for both Medical Consumables and Medical Devices
• Working within the wider company team (eg customer services/purchasing etc) as well as externally with the customers within this large key account
function overview
• Setting up new products, contacting suppliers and customers about stock shortages and substitutes, reviewing reporting, product catalogue management and making recommendations on inventory improvements
Tasks in brief
• Inventory: to review catalogue inventory and identify areas for improvement, identifying replacements, review reporting/stock on hand and ensuring product info is up to date
• Working closely with customer and suppliers
• Administration (SAP is used)
• Projects
• Product expertise
• SOP’s
You
• Will enjoy inventory management challenges and complex processes
• Have supply chain practice
• Be familiar with using Excel & ERP systems
• May have medical consumables product expertise - a benefit
• Negotiation expertise
• A savvy, professional candidate with a high level of business acumen
