This is a nationwide exhibition and entries are open to all New Zealand residents.Prizes include: 3x Outstanding Artists Awards each receive $1000 monetary prize plus the opportunity to exhibit at Marirangi Arts Centre together in 2023. 1x 2D Merit Award - $250 Factory Frames voucher 1x 3D Merit Award - $200 C.C.G. voucher 1x Open Merit Award - $200 Gordon Harris Voucher 1x People's Choice Award - $100 Mairangi Arts Centre voucher 1 x21 years old & under Merit Award - $250 cash sponsored by Yoga Within, Browns Bay, Auckland This year's judge is Warrick Brown. One-time lawyer, Warwick has been collecting and writing about art for over 40 years. He co-founded NZ's first art collecting co-operative in 1976, the prototype for many subsequent such co-ops. He has been a director ofArt New Zealandmagazine, the art columnist for theDominion Sunday TimesandHouse and Gardenmagazine,an occasional lecturer, manager of an art auction house and two dealer galleries. In addition to numerous articles and catalogue notes, he has written four prosperous books on NZ art, the most recent beingSeen This Century(Godwit, 2009). He has judged numerous art competitions over the years, including co-judging the Wallace Awards three times, and was awarded an MNZM for services to the arts in 2013.
