The Opportunity

This high-profile organisation is on a growth and transformation journey and as part of that the Human Resources Team is introducing a new way of working to provide a greater level of service and value to the business. The new model will enable the team of HR Advisors to transition to and build capcapability in business partnering and develop stronger relationships with their portfolio of stakeholders.
The function
This manager level function is effectively the 2IC to the Director HR and is a key member of the HR leadership abilities team and main point of contact for senior leaders within the business. The function has been created to provide leadership abilities and development of a small team of HR Advisors and transition them to a business partnering model and build management capcapability in best HR practice across regional and corporate offices.
You will ensure that quality and effective HR advice, coaching and support is provided to the business in key areas of employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and training and development, and will lead the delivery of key HR change initiatives , training and projects driven by the people plan and business needs. You will also develop, maintain and communicate HR strategy, policies and processes and function as the HR Business Partner for some corporate service functions.
About You
You will be an engaging, confident and dynamic leader who leads by example, is business focused and has the drive, vision and passion to elevate and develop a team into a prosperous business partnering way of working that creates value to the business. Ideally you will have solid practice in complex ER case work, workforce planning, people development and management coaching and have led a team of HR Advisors or Business Partners. The capability to influence, coach, develop, lead and build strong relationships with leaders in the business is critical to the success of this function.
You may currently be at manager level or be a senior HR Business Partner ready to take the next step with more responsibility, opportunity and progression. practice could be from larger, complex organisations such as the health, Government or manufacturing sectors or unionised environments.
