During their 30 years in operation, they have set operational, product and safety benchmarks in the New Zealand glass industry. Currently employing more than 900 employees in a wide variety of roles including operations, glazing, commercial, driving, manufacturing, engineering, and support services. Now they are on the hunt for a Timber Retrofit Glazing labourer. This position would be assisting with glazing and project work performed by glaziers, installers measurers and subcontractors including organizing materials and providing manual labour duties onsite. Your key responsibilities we are looking for are: » Ability to read drawings and specifications to identify material requirements » Measure and order glass and materials for glazing contracts » Install and remove glass panels from structures and fixtures as instructed and trained to do » Check the quality and accuracy of work » Knowledge of our clients' products and services » Proven track record to use hand tools including light industrial power tools » Sound understanding of site safe work practices » Joinery experince would be advantageous but not essential The Personal Attributes we are looking for in you are: » Customer service focus » Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills » Initiative and proactive approach » Ability to cope under pressure » Good communication skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of people » Eager to learn and wiling to follow instructions and work under supervision » Fit and physical healthy as you will be manual handling and heavy liftin on a regular basis To be successful for this position must have a clean, full class 1 driver's license, pass a Ministry of Justice Check, Pre-employment drug test and Two Verbal References must be satisfactory prior to commencement of this position.
