They have established themselves as being a high performing boutique operator gaining a quality reputation in the construction market. They represent clients across a range of vertical construction categories such as hotels, education, apartments, mixed use, retail, industrial, and corporate fit outs. They work collaboratively, have an intimate working culture, they maintain and stick to their company values. They are now looking strategically at the structure of the business, current resourcing, management requirements, current and future projects in the pipeline with a view to growth. They have identified a strategic need for a SPM to step into the business. This would suit a SPM looking to take ownership of a team, contribute to mentoring, get involved in operational aspects of the business, and be involved in business networking, development and growth. The key background required is that you are currrently a Senior Project Manager within a construction project management consultancy with proven practice on a broad range of commercial projects covering such areas as project management, project planning, procurement and contract administration and construction management. We are seeking for candidates with 12 - 15 years of practice with a tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, Engineering or Property. The key expertise and nature of the function will encompass: » Project plan preparation and scheduling » Cost control and quality management » Being part of the leadership abilities team » Business development » Risk management » Tendering/procurement » Leading meetings » Design and pre-implementation management » Report working and financial management » Team recruitment, mentoring and managing income between $150K and $165K + car parking pending practice + negotiated plan for Directorship This presents as a career development opportunity for a SPM that would be excited about fast tracking growth to Directorship and that might currently be limited due to the current heirarchy.
