We have a strong strategic vision and are excited to be able to provide the opportunity for an practiced box office manager to join our team in 2022 and contribute to the future of opera in Aotearoa.Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the CRM & Box Office Manager is responsible for managing the strategic, technical, analytical and everyday operations of New Zealand Opera's box office. We are seeking for a special candidate who can provide high-level customer service and a professional front-end face to ticket sales. The prosperous applicant will need to be a team player and excellent communicator with a proven record of managing CRM/ticketing systems within a fast-paced events environment. We are seeking for a person who will work closely with the marketing team to: » Manage all aspects of ticketing for the Company, including pricing strategy, back-end set up, sales, customer service. » contact with the Marketing and Development team to develop data-driven strategies for maximising box office revenue. » Operate the NZ Opera Box Office at each venue and lead in providing optimal customer service at all NZ Opera performances. This will require travel to support seasons outside of Auckland. » Reconcile revenue reports for each event and provide regular updates on sales to the Marketing and Development team as required » Be the super-user and system administrator of Tessitura (NZ Opera's CRM system), responsible for the smooth running of Tessitura across the organisation. » Maintain and drive NZ Opera's use of customer data to create and inform marketing strategy and individual campaigns, communications, and philanthropy initiatives. We are seeking for a candidate with practice in the following areas: » At least three years Box Office practice » Comprehensive knowledge of Tessitura or another industry standard CRM. » A good appreciation and knowledge of opera, classical music or the performing arts is preferred If you are a highly motivated, passionate and outgoing individual with a desire to contribute to the artistic fabric of Aotearoa through Opera, we would love to hear from you.
